What is the best diet for me?

What diet works for one person might not necessarily work for you.  There are an many different diet plans on the market today. Of course the Atkins,  low carb,  cleansing, pill form where do you start when thinking about dieting .  I think the best diet advice I ever got was  just start quiet reading and thinking about how your going to loose weight and just start.   Start with what you know eat less and exercise more. Make a lifestyle change.  All though that sounds simple it’s anything, but simple.  Here at diet and fitness we are here to bring you all types of articles to help you on your journey.

How much water should I drink in a day?

For the average person you should be drinking about 64 oz. of water per day! Which equals about 8 cups of water. That sound like a lot doesn’t it.   I thought so at first too, but when I measured what I was drinking it was not an unattainable idea. Each meal I drink one tall glass of water which = 16oz. or 2 cups. Times that by three meals I am already up to 48oz. or 6 cups just drinking water during my three main meals a day.  Whatever cup you use to drink water take a measuring cup and measure how much water is inside, you’d be surprised.

How much should I exercise a day?

As a general goal you should aim for at least 30 minutes of activity per day. Whether you are walking or turned on the Wii with a dance game you should be doing something that increases your heart rate for at least 30 minutes.

How many fruits and vegetables per day?
